Yes. With Urban Self Storage you can ask for partial retrieval, meaning only the items you choose are sent back while everything else stays in storage. Tell our team which items you need, and we'll check the inventory and confirm the charges and delivery slot before we go ahead.
What is partial retrieval?
Partial retrieval means getting back some of your stored items instead of all of them. Common examples in Bangalore:
- Winter clothes or a suitcase before a trip
- A few files from document storage for an audit
- Stock samples from business storage
- A chair or a cot from household storage when guests visit
How does partial retrieval work at Urban Self Storage?
- Request: call +91 99000 56394 or WhatsApp us with a list of the items you need.
- Inventory check: we match your request to the inventory list made when your goods were stored.
- Confirmation: we confirm any charges and a delivery or collection slot.
- Delivery: the selected items are sent back. Everything else stays stored, and your plan carries on as normal.
Does partial retrieval cost extra?
- Retrieval and delivery are priced separately from the monthly storage rent.
- The charge depends on how many items you need, how big they are and how far they're going.
- We give you the amount before anything is moved, so there are no surprises.
- Monthly storage starts from ₹1,999 for 1 BHK. See pricing.
How should you pack for easy retrieval?
- Number and label every box with a short list of what's inside.
- Keep a photo inventory on your phone.
- Group by season or use: for example festivals, winter, kids or office.
- Put things you'll need often in separate, clearly marked boxes.
- Ask for a copy of the inventory when your goods go into storage.
What should you ask any storage provider about retrieval?
- Can I take out only some items, and how much notice do you need?
- What does each retrieval cost?
- Can I collect items myself, or is it delivery only?
- Is there a written inventory?
