Self storage is a service that lets you store furniture, household goods, business inventory or documents in a secure, professionally managed facility for as long as you need, instead of keeping them at home or in your office.
What items can I store?
You can store furniture, appliances, electronics, clothing, household goods, business inventory, office equipment and documents. Hazardous, perishable, illegal and other restricted items cannot be accepted.
Household Storage
Can I store household belongings while I travel or move?
Yes. Household storage is commonly used while relocating, renovating, travelling, going onsite or moving abroad. You can read more on our household storage page.
Can I store furniture?
Yes. Sofas, beds, dining tables, wardrobes and other furniture can be stored, with handling and wrapping arranged as part of the pickup process.
Business Storage
Can businesses use Urban Self Storage?
Yes. Businesses use Urban Self Storage for excess inventory, seasonal stock, office equipment, retail fixtures and archived records, with GST invoices provided.
Can I store business documents and records?
Yes. Document storage is available for business records, files and archives that need secure, longer-term storage.
Pricing & Space
How much does self storage cost in Bangalore?
Pricing is based on what you store rather than a fixed room size. Indicative household storage starts at ₹1,999 per month for approximately 25 items (1 BHK). Full indicative pricing is listed on our pricing page.
What size storage unit do I need?
You don't need to pick a unit size. Because we price on what you store, you only pay for the volume your goods actually occupy — share a list of your large items (beds, wardrobes, sofas, appliances) plus approximate cartons and we'll estimate it for you.
Is a security deposit required?
No security deposit is required. Rental is prepaid and based on your actual storage requirement, with no hidden charges.

How are my belongings kept secure?
Goods are stored in professionally managed facilities with controlled access and monitored premises, and each customer's goods are recorded and tracked.
Is insurance available?
Complimentary insurance coverage is included for eligible stored goods, subject to the applicable policy terms and coverage limits.
Pickup & Delivery
Do you provide pickup and delivery?
Yes. We can arrange doorstep pickup of your goods and deliver them back to you when you request retrieval, based on the applicable service charges.
Access & Rental Duration
Can I access my stored items?
Access can be arranged on request, according to the applicable access process and facility timings.
How long can I rent a storage unit?
Storage can be arranged for short-term or long-term periods. You can extend your storage or retrieve your goods as your needs change.

How do I get my belongings back?

Where is the Kamath Layout storage facility?
The Kamath Layout facility is at #123/4, Pipeline Rd, Kamath Layout, Janashakthi Nagar, Vivekanandanagar, Machohalli, Karnataka – 560091.
Is the Talaghattapura address a storage facility?
No. The Talaghattapura address is the registered office of Storagians Logistics Pvt Ltd. Goods are stored only at the Seegehalli and Kamath Layout facilities.
